Architecturally, nothing seems to have changed here in more than sixty years. The Buca di San Francesco was much loved by Charlie Chaplin, Salvador Dalì, President Truman, the King of Sweden and the Florentine writer Vasco Pratolini. The mediaeval vegetable flan with chicken livers is still being served. Its owner is the world's foremost collector of 'ex-libris'.
