A symbol of the Lido and of its splendours, with a façade entirely decorated in Art-Nouveau Liberty majolica and elegant halls with parquet floors, frescoes and original furniture, it has three floors all with early twentieth-century furnishings in pristine condition. Initially patronised by the high society of the Kingdom of Hungary, guests have included Sarah Churchill, daughter of the British statesman, Claudia Cardinale, Jerry Lewis and Prince Edward. Its “Dancing Follies” were renowned from 1930 to 1960. Magnificently restored and now complete with a Thai spa, it has reacquired all its original prestige and standing.
