A splendid window with a sign that says “Pietro Bruno Confettiere Liquorista” and the crest of official purveyors to the House of Savoy is set in the arcades of the main street of old Cuneo. A café of great style and elegance with cross vaults and drop chandeliers, elegant wooden interiors and marble-topped counter and tables, it has been beautifully restored. Ever since it was set up by the Raiter family from Switzerland, artists from the nearby Teatro Toselli and the cultural, political, and social intelligentsia of the city have all met here.
