It is a patrician villa of 1500 that was turned into a de luxe hotel, in the middle of a natural oasis a few kilometres far from Florance. Its Renaissance charme and the ancient park enchanted Barbara Hutton, the queen of Greece, Winston Churchill, Gregory Peck, Richard Burton and Elisabeth Taylor. Nowadays, David Bowie, Neil Young and Princess Caroline of Monaco sign in its registration book.
