This was originally the 'Bottigliera del Leone' in the splendid 'Casa Veneziana' in Piazza San Babila that the Milanese, contrary to the Peace of Villafranca after the second War of Independence dedicated to irredentist Venice, which remained Austrian. Milanese high society has always come to what became the 'Caffè Canetta' and later the 'Donini' to enjoy the historical 'Gin Rosa' created in the 19th century under the name 'Costumé' and later 'Mistura Donini'. All the great names of the Scapigliatura movement and all the mayors of Milan have graced these tables.
