A monument to Italian culture in the fifteenth-century Palazzo Agostini, on the Lungarno, it has great nostalgia for those illustrious patrons who came as students: Domenico Guerrazzi, sent down from university for proclaiming news in the café about the Carbonara revolt, Giuseppe Montanelli, a volunteer at Curtatone and Montanara, Giuseppe Giusti, who made the café famous in his Memorie di Pisa of 1841, Renato Fucini, Giosuè Carducci, Mazzini and the Garibaldian Abba. In 1839 it hosted the meetings of the first Italian Congress of Scientists. Seven generations.
