Two confectionery shops in Sestri Levante (the oldest one dating back to 1840) and one in Riva Trigoso, where the Rossignotti family have long provided holidaymakers with the sweetest of delights. The shop-windows, furnishing and machines are those of its glorious past, enveloped in a delicious aroma of custards and pastries, cream-filled cannoli and cavoli, and the most extraordinary production of nougat-like torrone all year round. Enough to beguile President Roosevelt, Greta Garbo and Guglielmo Marconi. Five generations.
