Set in an elegant, early 20th century building, it was first hydropathic establishment of Sirmione and in later years it became one of the most prestigius hotels of the Lake Garda area. Many notable guests stayed here: Maestro Toscanini; actors Gary Cooper and David Niven; movie director René Clair and the fashion creator Christian Dior; Royalty included Paul of Greece and the Prince Pierre de Polignac.
