A masterpiece of restrained elegance, with all-white furnishings decorated with the Swiss cross and three little shop windows with the original signs. It is one of the last remaining Swiss patisseries which, in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, took Genoa “la Superba” by storm with the fragrances and flavours of Central European pastries from the German Canton, bringing age-old local confectioners’ into crisis. Originally taken to fame by the aristocracy of the villas in the elegant Albaro district and by the noble students of the nearby Regia Scuola Navale, it is now a place of sweet veneration for all.
